Purity and testing
What does “≥99% purity” actually mean?
It is the peak area percentage of the target compound in a reverse-phase HPLC chromatogram, measured by UV absorbance at 214 nm. It is the standard purity metric for synthetic peptides. It does not describe peptide content by mass — a lyophilisate also contains residual counter-ions, water and salts, which is normal and expected. Where net peptide content is reported by our analytical partner, it appears on the certificate.
Who does your testing?
An independent third-party analytical laboratory, not the synthesis partner. Testing the manufacturer's own material through the manufacturer's own lab is not verification.
How do I match a COA to my vial?
Each vial is labelled with a batch number. Enter it in our COA library to pull the chromatogram and mass spectrometry report for that specific lot. Certificates that do not carry a batch number matching a physical vial are not worth much, which is why we publish them per lot rather than per product.
Handling
How should material be reconstituted?
See our reconstitution guide. In summary: bring the vial to room temperature before opening, introduce solvent slowly against the vial wall rather than directly onto the lyophilisate, and swirl rather than shake. Bacteriostatic water is the usual solvent for multi-draw work; sterile water suits single-use preparations.
How should it be stored?
Lyophilized and sealed: −20 °C long term, or 2–8 °C for several months. After reconstitution: 2–8 °C, protected from light, and used within the window given on the product page. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles — aliquot instead. Full detail in the storage guide.
What is the shelf life?
Lyophilized peptides stored sealed at −20 °C are generally stable for 24 months or more. Reconstituted solutions are far less stable and should be treated as short-lived.
Legal and compliance
Are research peptides legal to buy in the United States?
Research chemicals may lawfully be sold and purchased for laboratory research use. They are not approved drugs, and they may not be marketed for, sold for, or used in human or veterinary application. Some compounds carry additional restrictions in some jurisdictions. Confirm the status of any compound where you are before ordering. Longer discussion in this article.
Do you sell to individuals?
We sell to researchers and research organisations for laboratory use. By ordering you confirm you are qualified to handle research chemicals and that the material will not be administered to humans or animals.
Will you advise on protocols?
No. We do not provide dosing information, administration guidance, or research design advice, and we will not respond to requests for it. We can answer questions about the chemistry, the certificate, the solubility specification, and the shipment.

Yes. Multi-vial tiers are priced on each product page. For quantities beyond the largest listed tier, or for standing supply arrangements, contact us with the compound and volume.
What if something arrives damaged?
Photograph the package and contents and contact us within 7 days. We replace or refund in full — your choice.
